Sentinel UAV
About this project
The Sentinel UAV is a prototype of a fixed-wing vertical take-off and landing unmanned aerial vehicle outfitted with a FLIR multispectral camera and capable of transporting life-saving equipment and medication. A scaled model of the UAV was designed, 3D printed, assembled, and presented together with a comprehensive deployment plan in the XXVIII. Hungarian National Scientific and Innovation Competition for Youth. Dobsinalia members Bence Horváth and Robert Hutter entered the competition by researching a concept for a drone network in Hungary, which would deliver life-saving defibrillators to patients in critical condition. The project consisting of a 22-page study and the UAV model was awarded the Jury’s Prize at the contest.
